Ohhhh... I can't tell you how tempting that is. Although, my requests might not be *entirely* knitting-related.

I studied Japanese for three semesters in college and LOVED it. I'd love to visit someday. Quite honestly, if you'd be up for a magazine-and-candy trade, or... magazine and yarn and candy trade, or something like that.. I'd LOVE a few Japanese fashion magazines (like Non-No, etc) or knitting mags. But what would you want? Perhaps some of the more recent knitting magazines from here, like the newer Vogue Knitting, etc? I'm not sure what you can get over there.

Oh yeah, I'm in the US by the way. :) So if that's going to be too much postage... I understand.

Jenn

Glad you got it ok! Hope your chocolates didn't melt too much, I was really worried about that. Enjoy your Fixation, it felt like a very fun, fluffy, soft yarn!

Mindy

I love swaps! I'm also US-located, a recent convert to Japanese knitting mags & curious about yarns that might not be available here. What would you like? Oh, and I work in NYC, much candy diversity to be had...

Mariko

Yeah, candy. Japan stuff. You may regret making that offer, ya know!

the only problem is that I have to figure out what I want.

Julie (since you got in first), I have picked up some Japanese fashion mags and it just so happens that I am flying to the US tomorrow (Oklahoma - yee ha - and SF) for a week. If you email me your address then I will send them to you. Once I figure out what I want I'll let you know.

Mindy, I'll see if I can find some cute Japanese knitting mags for you. Also please send me your mailing address just in case I find something. I am often in the 2nd bookstore here coz they have heaps of cool knitting mags that are not for sale in bookstores anymore.

Gotta share the love!!

Becky

Ooooh! Swap with me! I can send some fabulous candy and yarn from Lyon...

Thuy

Hey, I love reading your blog. Your stuff always looks great. I live in LA (minutes from La Knitterie Parisienne) and we have many, many yarn stores and cute things if you have room for another swap. This is my first post so I'd be willing to send first if you're worried. I am also curious about some Japanese knitting mags and interesting yarns. Try the Shrek m&ms while your'e in the States. They're HUGE!
