So as I mentioned a couple of posts ago, I finished Carla only to discover that it was a little too tight across the shoulders for me. I did happen to find a great home for Carla. I finally got around to weaving in the last of the ends at my friend Amanda's place on Friday night. We then did a little photo shoot (results below). Amanda is leaving Japan after two years and Carla will be going back with her to Canberra to keep her warm and remind her of me!!! Carla is a really cute sweater and I think that I will be making another one out of Muench Bergamo (wool tape) as did Sharlyn. It'll be the perfect sweater for Autumn.
Had a great weekend that involved - meeting up with Bronwyn (a fellow knitting blogger from Canada), a skateboarding bbq and the Mitaka Awaodori Festival. Photos tomorrow.
Wonderful. I must make one for myself.Problem:no quality knitting magazines in my country (Croatia). Thanks to knitting bloggers and lot of pictures.

Carla looks fantastic on Amanda! She looks like a model!

Looks fabulous on her! You must knit one for yourself, you will love the way Bergamo knits up, it's all bouncy and squinchy (if that's even a word).

Great sultry Carla shot. And, of course, I love the sweater. I'm trying so hard to resist this one, but I've seen so many great versions, it's hard not to give in...
