One-Skein Wonder

Nah, I haven't made one yet, but a bunch of girls are making some very cute ones. I am now convinced that I need to make one too. However, I was pretty sure that there was no money left in my paypal account, and my credit card is officially off-limits for at least another couple of weeks (after crazy shopping spree in the US). I logged into my paypal account and guess what - the balance was $3.84 and the one-skein wonder pattern costs $3.75 - WOOHOO! So you know what I'll be knitting in the next week. My 9 cent paypal balance also means that I'll be selling some more Japanese knitting books on Ebay over the next month or so, so stay tuned.

In other knitting news, I have finished one colourful striped knee-high sock and will be casting on for the matching one today (just finished casting on and have nearly finished the toe) - hooray! And I just have to attach Iris's sleeves and I'll be able to take some photos!!

My one skein wonder is really a two ball wonder, so lone balls in the sale baskets, rejoice! Two balls of yarn will do it if you can't find a skein with enough yardage. (just a shout out to all the OSW knitters)

How much do I love Glampyre's patterns? Eeee, each one's better than the last. I'm starting my OSW as soon as I finish the Annoying Shawl. Hopefully soon, because I really, really need one. Maybe even two.
